We are Community Food Basket International (CFBI) a registered, Non-Profit Organisation committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need especially in the areas of food and education which are fundamental rights of every individual.
Our mission is to alleviate Hunger and promote the well-being of disadvantaged communities through the provision of food and education to the needy and vocational skills, equip them with sustainable agro skills and vocational skills, thereby enabling them to create a livelihood for themselves.
Community Food Basket International (CFBI) was birthed in 2016, at a time when Uganda was hit by severe famine. This crisis took a toll on families, as children became malnourished. Mothers became hopeless, and fathers felt inadequate for their inability to provide for their families.
Following these events, our Executive Director Mr. Rwakatale Sylus Lewis, was moved by compassion and propelled by a desire to reach out and feed and educate the needy, however small the number. Since then, it has become our mission to reach out with food to different communities in Uganda, till recently when we realised that the needs of the communities are beyond hunger.
We have therefore embarked on a journey of educating and skilling vulnerable communities in Uganda East Africa, shaping minds, shaping futures and changing lives of these communities and improving on their livelihood.
We are therefore, kindly request you to join hands and partner with us, towards these causes of feeding and educating the vulnerable communities in East Africa Uganda.
